The Art of Living Course combines ancient practical wisdom with simple and powerful breathing techniques. These practices release physical and emotional stress, deeply relax the body and mind, and promote general well-being.
Quality and success in life are largely determined by our state of our mind. Reflected in the rhythms of the breath, our emotional state impacts our state of mind. Have you ever observed your breath when you were feeling anxious, or depressed, angry, happy or peaceful?
If so, you will have noticed that each emotion is accompanied by distinct changes in the rhythm and intensity of our breath. However, just as our experiences affect our breath, so skilful use of our breath can influence our experience of life.
The Art of Living course consists of breathing techniques, meditation and gentle yoga postures; as well as skills for dealing effectively with challenging emotions and situations. These practices are designed to bring back the natural harmony between the body, breath and mind.
Sudarshan KriyaThe cornerstone of the course is the Sudarshan Kriya, a unique and powerful breathing process. Using specific rhythms of the breath to return the body, mind and emotions to their natural rhythm and balance, it eliminates stress, fatigue and negative emotions, leaving you calm yet energised, focused yet relaxed.
