What is Sri Sri Yoga?

Image
Inspired by His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Sri Sri Yoga is a unique and inspiring discipline consisting of hatha yoga integrated with other paths of yoga such as knowledge, service and devotion.

Sri Sri Yoga is more than just a form of physical exercise. It is a path towards total harmony of body, mind and spirit.  It is ancient wisdom for a healthier, happier and more peaceful way of living.

"Like a flower bud, human life has the potential to blossom fully.  Blossoming of human potential to fullness is Yoga."

-Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

Casual Sri Sri Yoga Classes

These classes are gentle in nature and are suitable for all levels of experience.  A typical class consists of gentle and vigorous asanas (postures), pranayamas (breathing practices), relaxation and a short meditation - all designed to leave you feeling refreshed and revitalised!

The Sri Sri Yoga Course

The Sri Sri Yoga course is a unique workshop, designed to provide you with an opportunity to experience the true essence of yoga and of your being.  It goes beyond the physical practice, and brings great calmness, focus and energy to the body and mind.

A combination of gentle and vigorous series of postures is taught for the wellbeing of the body, while an equal emphasis is placed on techniques for nurturing the mind and spirit. Breathing practices (pranayama), relaxation, meditation and yoga philosophy form an integral part of each session.

The Sri Sri Yoga course is open to beginners as well as experienced practitioners looking to deepen their practice.  You gain from this course not only a beautiful home practice, but also an understanding of the depth and subtlety that yoga offers in relation to everyday life.
